Important information

If you want to experience the WEURO 2017 atmosphere before the match starts, you can join your fellow fans in the Fanzone on Wilminkplein and Stationsplein. The Fanzone opens its gates at 12:00. In the Fanzone there will be all kinds of fun football activities, demos and (live) music. Make sure to get to the stadium in time! We urge you to leave (big) backpacks and bags at home to increase the speed of the queue, so we can make sure everybody is in their seat before kick-off. 
 

Print your tickets!
Have you purchased your tickets online? Then print before you go to the stadium. The stadium can only be accessed with physically printed ticket on A4. A ticket on a smartphone can not be scanned and does not give access to the stadium.

Stadium info

  • Near the stadium there will be a Commercial Area with various activities to get you excited about the game and buy merchandise.
  • During WEURO 2017 you can buy beverages in stadium. You can buy (alcohol free) beer, soda, coffee and tea. There’s also food stands selling both hot and cold sandwiches and other finger food.
  • In the FC Twente stadium you can pay by special coins. You can get those coins on various locations in the stadium. You can pay for those by both pin and cash.
  • Outside of the stadium there will be four service points where you can pay by pin.
  • Here you will find a map of the stadium. At the stadium there are also volunteers who can show you the way.


Safety
Safety first! Therefore, there are some rules we’d like to bring to your attention:

Everybody that enters the stadium will be checked – this includes backpacks. To avoid long lines, it’s preferred to leave large bags at home.
Items that may be dangerous to visitors are prohibited in stadium: bottles, glasses, sticks, fireworks and weapons.
Banners without sticks are allowed, provided the text on the banner is not discriminatory, offensive or politically loaded.
Smoking and alcohol are prohibited in and around the stadium.

Travel information

Transport
The FC Twente stadium is accesable by public transport. We advise you to plan your trip before you leave and we urge everybody to travel to the stadium by public transport. There will be no extra trains of buses made available, so you can plan your trip on www.9292ov.nl 

There will, however, be shuttle buses made available.
-   If you park on the car park of University Twente, you can use one of three shuttle buses. Buses depart from Twente University from 09:00
- The central station is near both Fanzones (Wilminkplein and Stadionplein)
- Two hours before the match, the shuttle buses will no longer drive to the University of Twente but directly from Enschede Station (Fanzone and the city center) to the stadium.
- At the same time, the shuttle service between the University of Twente and the stadium will start.


Are you traveling to the stadium by bike or walking? Then use the special Active app that UEFA has developed.

You can park your bike near the stadium, on the grass near bus stop Enschede Kennispark NK. You can walk from here through the rail tunnel to the stadium. There’s also a parking space available for bikes between the railway and P2 (directly beside the stadium).


Parking information

  • Follow the yellow signs to make sure you get to the car park of UT.
  • Please note! In Enschede there will be limited parking spaces available on Sunday.

Fan activities

Before the final you can visit the Fanzones in Enschede. On August 6 the Fanzone will open at 12:00. The Fanzones are located on Wilminkplein and Stationsplein. Fans of all teams will gather here to celebrate women’s football together. There will be fun activities for both kids and adults. Activities: Pole soccer, panna football, table football and demos. You can also enjoy the (live) music and relax with a drink. For kids there will be various fun activities: there will be bouncing castles, making banners, pimping T-shirts and mascot Kicky will also be present.  The Fanwalk will leave the Fanzone at: 13.45. You are more than welcome to join!

NS: Extra train after finishing the Netherlands-England
 NS is prepared for travelers who want to travel home-Netherlands after the match. NS runs an extra train after the race.
This train does not have a predetermined time of departure but leaves after the end of the match, including any extension and / or penalty. This train departs from Enschede Kennispark to Utrecht Centraal and connects to the night network.
